Thank You From the Entire Levy Family:

I want to thank the entire Alumni Association for the very special surprise that was given to me on Saturday, June 19th. Yes, I was surprised and so very grateful for all that was done for me. Camp embodies my entire life. Camp has shown me how to raise my children, shown me how to run a business, shown me how to live my life. It's through camp and what camp has taught me - that I raised my children. Smile and be happy, be goal oriented, use what you have to your maximum benefit. We don't always think that camp has been that big a part of our life, but think about it, what did we learn during those many summers? I use what I learned every day of my life. My children treat people with respect and love . . .that's camp. The way I run my business, for the benefit of all . . . that's camp. I owe a great deal to George Cooper and to Camp Eberhart! Thank you camp for letting me be what I wanted to be.

As far as the Alumni Association, I have to say that all I do is talk and beg, it's the Alumni that really do the work, as they are the one's that donate the funds that made this camp what it is today. Your contributions and your friendship have gotten camp to it's 95th birthday. Because of Brice and Julia Emanuel and their staff of dedicated employees, camp is in the best shape it's ever been in. Registrations are down, but our office staff has jumped in and are working hard at filling the gaps that are there. The camps permanent staff is just plain wonderful. Full of life, wanting to help, just there to serve anyone and everyone. Then there's Kathy our "chef." With a small dedicated staff, she prepares meal after meal after meal. Sometimes for 20, other times for 300. She's incredible. As you could see from your stay at camp (if you came to reunion), the camp is in the best shape ever! Bob Kolbe and Jamie Miller (and their staff) work so hard, you can't believe the hours they put in a week. We all owe them a vote of thanks for all their hard work.

Camp has a wonderful future, as long as we all keep camp in our hearts and in our memories. If we do, then fundraising will be easier, and more effective. We have lots to do, and with all of your help, it will be done. Many of you have heard about the newest curse at camp. Now that a plaque has been given to me, I'm now doomed. 100% of the plaques at camp are for deceased individuals. I hope the time I have left can be used to strengthen the Alumni Association so it can be a bigger and better help to camp for the many years to come. So if I call or write, remember, you're helping someone who has very limited time left before the curse takes my last camp breath. So donate now, while I can still write thank you notes.

My best to all and again, thanks for your dedication and your love. The gift of the artwork and the plaque was wonderful.
